When Sunset Community Health Center set out to expand access to medical care in Yuma, AZ, they needed a partner who could deliver a facility built around the needs of both their staff and their patients, quickly and on a limited budget. ESB delivered with a permanent modular healthcare facility—our signature floorless steel frame factory-built building with slab-on-grade foundation—a structure you’d never guess was a modular building.

In early 2016, the doors opened on a 9,230 square-foot facility designed with purpose from the ground up. The open concept layout houses 16 exam rooms, two nurse stations, two triage rooms, two provider suites, and more; design to best optimize patient care. Providing quality care to the over 3,000 patients in Yuma County.

First impressions matter too. A stucco pop-out with a bold color block frames the building name just above the front entrance, giving the facility a clean, confident exterior presence that reflects the quality of care provided inside.

Despite the complexities that arose throughout the project, our team navigated every challenge with precision, delivering the facility on time and within budget.
