We are proud to have supported Marana Unified School District for more than three decades as they have managed rapid expansion, and the addition at Gladden Farms Elementary is another shining example of that trusted partnership in action. When MUSD needed to expand capacity while working within strict budget and timeline constraints and a limited campus footprint, they turned to ESB Design+Build to deliver.
The result was a 7,500-square-foot, six-classroom building, completed and ready to welcome sixth graders in record time. The facility features student restrooms with vibrant wall tiles that echo the colorful exterior tile detailing, complementing the main school building’s bright tile and giving offering a cohesive, welcoming feel.
One of the key challenges we faced early in the project was making the most of the limited space available on campus while ensuring the building met all required safety and fire codes. Our team approached the problem creatively, designing a solution that maximized footprint while maintaining code compliance, safety, and quality. The finished building integrates seamlessly with the existing campus, functionally and aesthetically.
