As the Town of Marana continues to expand rapidly, Marana Unified School District is charged with keeping pace, and they turned to us to help make that possible.
Working closely with MUSD, we delivered a new classroom building for grades 5 through 8 that not only met their needs but exceeded them, providing an additional classroom. The 5,648 square-foot building was designed with every student in mind, featuring a fully open environment built to support special education and welcome students of all abilities with the high-quality space they deserve.
Accessibility was a priority from the ground up. The one-story building is wheelchair accessible both inside and out, with minimal stairs and smooth concrete around the exterior ensuring easy navigation for all.
Fully equipped, student and staff restrooms are conveniently located within the building, and the stucco exterior is finished with a pop of color on the doors, windows, awnings, and handrails — giving the building a welcoming, vibrant character that fits right in on campus.
